Introduction.
Gondola Pastel was established in 1919 in Kyoto as the first soft pastel maker in Japan. For 90 years, we’ve created handmade pastels that match the light of Japan.
In 2011 we began the sales of Kyo Iro Pastel which was created from the idea of Yukiko Inoue, who won first place at the Second Kyoto Culture Venture Competition and it contains traditional colors of Kyoto.
